Simply Delicious Salmon
Ingredients
Salmon
Salt
Butter
Lemon juice
Dried Dill
This is such a simple recipe and I think that is what makes it so good. Take fresh salmon, wash and pat dry. Place on baking sheet that has been lined with foil. (Foil isn't necessary but it sure does make clean up a whole lot easier!)
Sprinkle salmon with salt. Take a pat of butter and cut into small pieces. Dot pieces onto surface of salmon evenly. Liberally drizzle lemon juice over the whole piece, don't worry if a little goes onto the foil. Shake dill over salmon. Place in pre-heated 450 degree oven. Bake until salmon flakes and is not translucent in middle. I usually set the timer for 15 minutes and check back later, but it all depends on the size of the piece.
Since this bakes at the same temp as the potatoes and carrots recipe, they can be in the oven at the same time, just on different racks. I usually pop the vegetables in first on the bottom rack since they take longer to cook and about half way through I put in the salmon on one of the top to middle racks.
