Thoughts and Link Fixes

No quite how I imagined I’d be spending this afternoon, but I’ve just gone through and fixed all the broken image links on the site.
So if you were looking for a tutorial, they are all back to normal now, I hope. Thank you WordPress upgrade! Or at least I think that was the cause of it… I have to admit I’ve been rather neglectful of the site over the years, I’m not actually sure when it broke since the migration last year to WordPress.
It’s funny how the site is a bit of a time capsule, considering that I started putting stuff up 13 years ago. During that time, I’ve grown huge leaps and bounds as a researcher and artist, and now it stands as a memorial to the phrase “Everyone starts somewhere”. Some of my early projects, I just cringe at, I was sooo inexperienced, so naive, so n00bie!
And then there’s all the stuff I’ve worked on over the years that has never made it up, *rolls eyes* nothing but to keep moving forward, and onward. In retrospect, it’s probably a good thing that the information has taken a while to see the grander public eye, it’s allowed me to explore the theories, and experiment through teaching, that having it put too soon on a webpage wouldn’t have allowed. I’m still trying to figure out where the site fits now with who I am, where I’m going, and my artistic direction. Do I overhaul it? Pull down all the old, outdated, research and put up new stuff as I have time? Or leave it as it is, and focus on larger projects, such as writing more books?  Or find some balance between the two?
Trying to find a balance between the old and the new has been where I’ve been stuck at for years, well, that and finding the time to actually work on projects for this site. There’s no shortage of things to do, and a real shortage of time!
