Crazy busy day

Today was crazy busy, and I didn’t do the smart thing and prep the blog post the night before, like I’ve done earlier in the week. Blogging for 30 days straight is going to take planning and prep work if I’m going to actually keep this up….

So today’s post is going to be a blog recommendation: Kitty Calash

The first thing you’ll notice is that it’s an 18th century blog, and you’re probably wondering, “Why is she sending me here? What does this have to do with the 16th century?” It’s because of posts like this one, Maintain an Even Strain, and many others throughout her archives. She blends her perspective as  a museum professional with a re-enactor’s perspective, and has some very thought provoking pieces about what are we all really doing when we make stuff? What’s the purpose, what’s the goal?

I love her blog, because it makes me think about the Why and the What, as well as the Where and How.
